01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Dari’s mutton khana set brings together bone-in mutton curry, daal, rice, achar, saag and papad—a satisfying way to enjoy the variety of a Nepali meal, not just the curry. One diner described the mutton curry as light and soupy, with small pieces of meat, and the daal as thickened with beans and grains. They also found the achar and saag easy to enjoy. The set invites you to alternate between curry and rice, daal and the other accompaniments. Another diner who ordered the same set found the standard spice level a little hot. You can choose from mild to very hot, so there is room to adjust the heat to your preference, perhaps starting on the gentler side if it is your first visit.

For a different combination, the Nepali Special Set comes with chicken or mutton curry, sautéed spinach, daal, rice, achar, papad, ghee and a drink. Other options include a set with one curry, naan and rice, or a set that lets you try two curries. The curry choices include Nepali-style and Indian-style options, and naan and rice can each be refilled free of charge up to two times. If you prefer a lighter consistency, Nepali-style soup curry is available with chicken, mutton, fish or prawns. These sets come with salad and a soft drink, and rice refills are unlimited.

Dari, a Nepali restaurant in Yushima, serves diners in its dining room and also offers takeaway. It is open for lunch and dinner, with set meals to suit different appetites and styles of dining.
